Repères: MR agency in Second Life
I'm a little late to this, not sure how I missed the initial post back in October, but after writing about Market Truth's presence in Second Life, I found that there's another MR agency in Second Life: Repères, a French agency.
François Abiven, CEO of the company, writes a generally very interesting blog (English version here), where Repères have announced their Second Life presence back in October, and more recently posted an update on the feedback they were getting.
I haven't had a chance to speak to anyone from the company in SL (although I visited their office and signed up to the panel - via web), as there was noone online at the time. Not sure therefore if they're planning on doing any in-world surveys, or stick to web surveys like Market Truths appear to.
More info, including a slurl to teleport you to their offices at http://www.reperes-secondlife.com

Thanks for your comments about my Blog. Concerning Reperes Second Life, we have just completed the first survey among our panel of avatars. It's an exploratory research, about the perception of Second Life by its residents. The summary results will be published. For this fist survey we used an classical online technique, but we definitly plan to do future research inside Second Life. See you there.
We (Market Truths) have been doing avatar-to-avatar interviews and focus groups in-world, but for the moment we are using the Web for surveys. Data collection via chat isn’t really feasible for some of the more complex question formats we use (for example, a survey we’re launching soon has a conjoint component) and we believe given current technology Web-based surveys offer greater privacy and convenience to the respondent and are technically more robust and secure.
