HP iPaq that switches automatically between WiFi and GPRS/GSM

HPs new iPaq h6315 switches automatically between WiFi and GPRS/GSM, depending on what's available... these machines should be able to be always connected, and always automatically use the fastest/cheapest means of connection.

With handhelds like these now appearing, is there still a point in off-line CAPI solutions?
